    Pros: STILL A CLASSIC

Cons: NOT AS GOOD AS PILGRIMAGE, ARGUS OR,S/T

THIS ALBUM IS IN MY COLLECTION BUT IS NOT PLAYED OFTEN. IT IS ON THE MCA LABEL WITH THE BLACK BACKGROUND RAINBOW DESIGN. I THINK THEY LOST THEIR FEEL AFTER TED TURNER, ANOTHER GUITAR GREAT, DID NOT APPEAR ON THIS ALBUM. SOME EAR-CATCHERS OTHERS JUST ...OK. Read more Less

  • Overall:

A part of the rock era

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 22, 2000

Wishbone Ash is one of the best rock bands ever. They have Skynyrd solos, Zeppelin flow, Floyd and Sabbath guitar tunes and classical 70s vocals..."Silver Shoes" and "Persephone" are two songs which have fantastic guitar solos just like Skynyrd or F...loyd!!! If you like rock and roll, dont forget to meet with WISHBONE ASH! Read more Less

Pro Reviews: There's the Rub

  • All Music Guide

With producer Bill Szymczyk running the sessions, the group finally gets a studio sound as solid as their concert sound. Most impressive all the way through.
