built to spill rocks
This album has some really cool string arrangements,a perfect example is "FLING".Doug Martsch has some really awesome lyrics and amazing,melodic guitar parts.A perfect blend of mellow songs and slightly heavy songs.

If every single person owned this indie rock treasure, the world would be a better place. I am from Boise,ID(built to spill land) and I say you must have this album!!!It is the greatest "pop" album ever recorded.

Beneath the wacky guitar fooling and somewhat nasal vocals, Built to Spill write great love songs, whether its bouncy pop or fragile melodies. Strings are used to good effect on three songs, and vocal harmonies make this disc an all-around winner.
