    Though the new Marilyn Monroe gift pack of DVDs or VHS tapes (THE DIAMOND COLLECTION) features 4 movies she had top billing in, I was surprised they also included this one. Monroe has a key part in the movie but her scenes are few though memorable. ... For the time this film was made (1954), her song and dance of "After You Get What You Want You Don't Want It" was racy, including Monroe slinking around in a killer dress worthy of a fancy Vegas showgirl. The film is about the Donahue family, a Vaudevillian act. Monroe comes into the scene much later, when the three Donahue children are grown ups. The movie itself has everything an old musical lover could want: Romance, comedy, incredible song and dance numbers, dazzling costumes, and an ending that will have you crying buckets. The movie is excellent, and a must-have for Monroe fans. Read more Less
