Synopsis: The Players Club (1998)

Ice Cube makes his directorial debut with this comedy about the inhabitants and employees of a steamy Los Angeles strip club.     Although "The Players Club" had some comical scences it still gave the real deal on the garbage that goes on in strip clubs and the terrible things that happen to the dancers. As a dancer I have seen these things happen and i've seen a lot of female...s get "turned out" by "gettin' their money". While the film should've had a more dramatic scenes to give people the full effect of the lifestyle of a dancer. Read more Less
