Sharing a love for punk godfathers like MC5, the Stooges, and the New York Dolls, as well as trashy nasty acts like the Dead Boys, the X-Impossibles came together in 1996. Singer Tim Lumley and guitarist Heidi Bartel met lead guitarist Shawn Christian, bassist Gary Yoxen, and drummer Morgan Engle and started cranking out 7"s.
