    I knew right off the bat ( no pun intended ) that this movie would strike gold. It's a noir piece that captures that era to a tee. It combines a perfect combination of a well written script, humor, actors and music. It depicts the mob as it once ...was ( and still is ) and leaves no stone unturned. Sean deserved the Oscar as supporting actor and I only wish that Charles Martin Smith would do more films like this. Read more Less

    A Great Gangster era Movie

    Another all star cast before most were anybody. De Niro plays a convincing Al Capone with charm and wit but also shows his tough and dark side. Connery brings humor to the film as a street wise beat cop who teaches a young Kevin Costner about Chicago... style police work. A good evening movie for all. Especially anybody interested in a gone by era of America's history. Read more Less

    See this movie! It's better than Schindler's List! It's better than The Searchers! For God's sake, stop seeing teenybopper garbage, and see this movie! It's the best movie ever made you idiots! It should have won every single Oscar out there!

    Connery got his Oscar for this... need I say more?

    Full of the quotes and the action movies are rented over and over for, "The Untouchables" wraps it all together in a story that keeps you wanting more (and brings it in the end).
