    Its a really long movie but in my opinion it was better than the James Cameroon versian.

    I think this was the BEST movie. I liked it even better than the movie with Leonardo DiCaprio because it had more storylines and showed the incident affected more groups of people.

    Titanic: A great ship! Excellent movie!

    Pros: Excellent acting, cinematography, costumes, and attention to set design detail.

    Cons: This should have been seen on the big screen. Too much overlap in the major disaster scenes.

    This movie is the first movie to show the break-up of the great liner as she sank, but you could hardly see it due to scene overlap. Acting is above average to excellent. Catherine Zeta Jones, Peter Gallagher, George C. Scott, Tim Curry, Marilu Henne...r, Roger Rees,and Sonsee Ahray are most believable in their roles. The extras in this film are most believable, also. The plot flow of this movie, the portrayal of the class system that existed at that time, as well as the accurate tragedies and heroism that occurred that fateful night, are all worth watching in this film about this disaster that changed maritime laws forever.     This version of the great Titanic disaster is a disaster. At least they did something write putting the hot Cathering Zeta Jones on. They didn't even show the sinking good all did was focus on the people because it was so poorly budgeted and all they... could show was some water and crapy computer effects. This film is pathetic do not waste your time and see. Watch the James Cameron version of the Titanic disaster it is great. But this should never have been made and that is a fact!!! Read more Less
