WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND BLOWS UP THE MOON FOR A FISHING LAKE, HONESTLY?!
("You maniacs! You blew it up! Damn you! Damn you all to hell! (sobbing)")
The mathematics and special effects will grab the nerd in you to see it, but when people start talking about how Orlando Jones (the original "Make 7 UP yours!" guy and ex-MADTV star) gets more attention for playing the part of the computer in the movie, thats when I want to just say no to this flick.Was this review helpful? Ridiculously bad. You'd think after all these years, a studio could make a decent movie about time travel. This one is anything but decent.

than the 2 hrs wasted. Rinjiro was up and heading for the door several times but was stopped by his company who were curious to know just how bad it could get: answer: VERY bad. For starters, the lead actor could learn to keep his mouth shut when not mumbling his lines. Some interesting effects are jumbled in, to replace a story line.

The changes to the Morlocks made more sense than the way that Wells originally wrote them. In the book, I could never understand why the Eloi weren't exterminated. The idea of the Uber Morlock clairified this. One issue though, the ending is week, it left me wanting more.

Very well made, the movie is very well balanced. Picture is great. Going to see the movie I anticipated a hollywood action movie with special effects, I was surprised to see that it was a very enjoyable movie.

With Guy Pierce, you would think they would try for a bit more than just a cheesy action flik with this classic of a story. A great twist on the destruction of earth, but after that, the movie falls apart quickly. If the movie would have stuck to the book, it would've been great... too bad.

I enjoyed this movie as much as the 1960 version.I thought it could have stayed with the original a bit better, but I will add this to my library....

The movie was great. It had awesome special effects. The monsters were very creepy but at the same time the movie kept you glued to your seat during the hole movie. Guy acted really good, the movie was really exciting but the bad thing is, it needed to have a better ending. But it still rocks and its a very very good movie.

I went to see this because Guy really outdid himself in Memento. I thought it was a really good movie except for the very end, it leaves you with too many questions. Oh well, Guy is still the MAN!!!!!!!!!!

Where the story fell short the special effects made up for it. I didn't like it less than the original but I can't say that it was better (although I had hoped). A good cast but it could have used a better story. It was fun otherwise.

I really liked this movie,I liked the effects,and the story.I would have went a little deeper in the beginning of the movie,but I still thought it was a movie to go see.

Going to that movie I did not expect much mainly because of the previews portaying it as an action hollywood movie. However, I was suprised to find it very well made and thought through and detailed. Even my girlfriend who hates sci-fi really liked it.

I can say that I liked the original aswell but thiss one was just as good. The special effects were great and Guys acting was superp. The ending could have been better but all in all it is a 4 star movie.

This movie makes us wish we did not waste our time watching this movie. Guy Pierce acted horribly and dryly. The ending was absolutely horrible. Don't waste your time with this movie. The older version is better.
