I caught the last 1/2 minutes 15 years ago...the cemetary scene when Cotton throws his smoke away after being snubbed by valli. I knew this was a classic !!! I got it from the lib. and that was it ...I am hooked. the acting is perfect ..the scenes Ca...rol Reed uses are incredible. It has been and will remain.. if not my favorite film(casablanca is a contender there) then a close second. Others mention the soundtrack..The theme from this movie made the charts in 49-50, its haunting.Film Noir lives! Read more Less
