, April 13, 20023 of 3 Yahoo! Users found this Thin Man review helpful This is a terrific film and in my opinion one of the best films of the 1930's. William Powell and Myrna Loy star as Nick and Nora Charles, a sophisticated and happily married couple that take a casual approach to solving mysteries, so casual that it doesn't seem like they're doing anything at all! In this installment, the first in the Thin Man series, they have to discover the circumstances surrounding the murder of an inventor and catch the culprit. Though Nick and Nora like to have fun and martinis, they always solve the crime and get their man in the end. This is a great film that mixes mystery and comedy to produce a top of the line product. Also stars Maureen O' Sullivan, Nat Pendleton and a young Cesar Romero. Enjoy! ...
