I loved this movie. It was so funny. I loved Applegate and Diaz in this. They played opposite magnificently. I also loved when they broke in to song out of the blue. What a kooky and wacky twist. I especially love the restaurant scene and the "movie montage"....there

Oh my gosh. Is this the best comedy ever or what? When I went to the theater, I couldn't stop laughing. Even after a few moments where it became a little serious, it jumped back into the comedy. The funniest parts in order: 1) sequence at beginning-Tell us about Christina Walters 2) Good Dream 3) Drycleaners 4) Golf course 5) Oh my
I absolutely thought this was a wonderful movie. The talent was great and who can ignore seeing a movie that has a scene with Selma Blair and a purple elephant and a stain on a dress she borrowed from her friends. Christina Applegate and Cameron Diaz are so funny (and guys-2 girls dancing to the Pina Colada song in their underwear a bathroom scene in the mens restroom and a motorcyclist misunderstanding of the dropping of a lip stick and Cameron Diaz bending over Christina Applegates lap to get it while in the car.
Roger Kumble is astounding with the amount of brilliance he has with directing movies, esp. with being so new to the business. The writing that Nancy M. Pimental did was excellent. All of the jokes are right on time and creative.
If you havent seen this movie, I strongly urge you to see it. And if you already have, watch it again, The Sweetest Thing is even better the second time.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoAwful
I am a big movie fanatic and i couldn't wait to see this movie. I didn't make it to the theater to watch it so i rented it. HUGE mistake!!! I like all of the actors in this movie, but the movie was horrible. I went in thinking it was going to be a funny chick flick. Nope it was all about sex!!! It was worse then movies like american pie. it had no point what so ever. Please save yourself 4 dollars and rent something worth renting!!!

Some men may be too sensitive to find the incredible humor in this film. As for this guy, I thought the film to be a nonstop riot from beginning to end! The first 10 minutes alone will have you rolling on the floor!

This movie is one of the worst films of the year. This is a must miss film, there is no doubt about it. The only thing that even kept me interested was the girls that were in it. Even if you like chick flicks, you should not waste your time on this one.

What a great way to just sit back and not think about anything serious going on. With all that's happening in this world today, it was a great relief to pop in a movie and just laugh. Not a nominee for an Oscar, but not every movie needs to be to be considered entertainment. It's just a mindless comedy meant to add a little humor to all of our lives in a time when we all need it. Put your feet up, pop some corn and get ready to laugh for an hour and a half.
