Pros: Take risks, without taking risks! Have your own pets, and give them cute clothes, without being Paris Hilton!
Cons: Only 1-player, gets boring after a while, pets are harder to train then in the real world
I was interested in the Sims because you get a virtual life. You create your own person, make a family, live your life like it's not yours! The Sims 2: Pets, give you a great and almost accurate idea of what it's like to be a pet owner. (Although the pets in the game are harder to train in the game) And though having this vitrtual life may be fun, unless your sim has some serious $imoleon$, then it's gonna be hard and stressful to cover up all those hole dug up in the yard by the dog, and all the scratched and destroyed furniture with those cats.
Overall, I just liked this game, for it gets lonley playing alone, but this is the fourth ever PS2 Sims game you can travel (including The URbz, and The Sims Bustin' out and The Sims 2) which makes it much more interesting! I would recommend this game only to certain people, depending on who they are, their tolerance, and how much free-time they have.
Pros: no idea what this is
Cons: no idea what this is
This is game is all the way 5 stars, I only have had one problem with it, the pc versions kitten and puppies move around as soon as they are born, the ones in the ps2 version sit in a basket while you interact with them, anyway the whole game is awesome I have always loved the sims, and have the entire sims 1 series on the pc, this game was entirely fun and non stop entertaining, with hundreds of possibilities to make your dream pet I have never gotten bored of this game, another thing I love about it is that your sims or their pets can not die, they can pass out and can be revived without paying or risks, or they get up on their own. I love the entire game and it i sooooo adictive, I have only rented the game and I am 8 dollars away from buying it! Ok, gotta go play it, its just so fun,
Pros: Pets, pets are nice.
Cons: Eh.. a lot
First off, I like using codes. Codes are my friends. Unfortunently, sims 2 pets for the ps2 does not have the traditional fill all motives and free sim money. What do they give you? A code to make 6 hours go by, and pet points. Pet points annoy me to no end. I mean, I get like 100,000 pet points and I cant buy anything with them besides the stuff in the square. There isnt even a machine to change the pet points into sim money, only one that changes sim money to pet points. So, if you'd like to have a lot of money you need to go buy a TON of items from the square, put them in your house, then slowly.. very slowly... sell back. For little money. All the while your cat is scratching your sofa, the dog is digging holes, and for some reason your neighbor has fallen asleep on your floor. Not my idea of fun. Also, the fact I cant plan ahead annoys me and that I must manually move my sim from object to object. What happened to the good old arial view and clicking a bunch of stuff in advance? Its gone, thats what happened. Anyways, I cant type anymore. If you buy this game, get it for the PC. The ps2 version is a joke.
Pros: fun to own pets
Cons: none
I really liked this sims better than the other ones. It is definitly worth it to buy. If you liked previous ones, then you will love this one. The graphics are great. You really feel like you own a real living pet. I love going to the park in the game and picking up new things for my pets to interact with. It is a really fun game.
