Synopsis: The Shrimp on the Barbie (1990)

Carlos has had it with the dismal business at his Mexican restaurant in Australia and is ready to pack it in and move back to the States. A spoiled heiress needs someone to pose as her fiance in a plot to get her father to let her marry her current beau. But when the masquerade starts, the plot thickens. Director Smithee takes a bow.

    Eclectic mix of the beautiful Emma Samms and the East LA Homey Cheech Marin. Homey from the hood marries wasp princess...with a few bumps along the way. Very enjoyable farce.
