The Rockinghams
Seattle guitar-pop trio the Rockinghams was led by singer/guitarist Jim Basnight, a longtime fixture of the local music scene best known for fronting post-punk cult favorites the Moberlys. Basnight formed the Rockinghams in 1992 with bassist Jack Hanan and drummer Criss Crass, who had just left the Muffs. In addition to being included on a number of pop compilations, the band issued their debut LP Makin' Bacon on Not Lame in 1999.
