Before Lincoln, NE The Return released their demo compilation of 1996's Greatest Demos Volume 1, the band would endure several different line-up changes before settling down with Randall Watson (vocals/ guitar), Bob Dale (bass/ vocals) and Ted Alesio (drums/ vocals). As the three-piece executed their power-pop stylings of The Faces, The Beach Boys and XTC, -ismist Records released The Return's first official full-length High Enough Yet? in 1997. Two years following, their second album the/return was again released through Lincoln's -ismist Records.
