Synopsis: The Red Balloon (1956)

   Pros: follows well with the story; shows storytelling w/o words

   Cons: shoes echoing along alleys gets really loud

   I'm a teacher and some of my second grade students and I read the short story "The Red Balloon" by Albert LaMorrise. After reading the story, I showed the video. It prompted a lot of discussion with my kids. I remember seeing the video way back when I was young. Though it stuck with me I did not understand it. ...
