New York quartet the Rattlers have strong ties to the Ramones not only in their '60s pop-influenced garage rock, but also personally -- lead singer Mickey Leigh is Joey Ramone's younger brother, and their only album, 1985's Rattled, was produced by former Ramone Tommy Erdelyi. Most of the Rattlers backed Lester Bangs on his 1986 album Birdland, and Leigh released an EP collaboration with his older brother under the name Sibling Rivalry in 1994 before forming the band Stop.
