I rented then bought this years ago and I must say it is an excellent sequel to an already classic horror thriller!!!!Rachel or Bergyl was superb as the outcast as was a thankfully pleasant cameo by Sue Knell the lone survivor of the original!!!The movie started off well and continued the tension from there.The part about her friend killing herself touched me and made me feel for her even more.The interaction between Bergyl and Sue Knell was great except Knell trieed more than Rachel did to understand her roots!!The ball exploding was classic Carrie and the backstory and scenes from the original made me feel at home!!!Threlationship twist between Rachel and Carrie shocked me!!I forgot in the original Carrie told her mom after her mom told her her dad ran away with the devil.Carrie turned around and said no mom he ran away with another woman!!The bullies i hated from the get-go and wanted to see them pay!!!Thankfully but gruesomely i got my wish!!!The house party scene really made me tense because I knew what was gonna happen!!!I loved the love between her and the jock Jesse but sadly it wasn't meant to be!!!Her psychotic mother made you feel for her even more especially when she pulled away from her:HOW CRUEL!!!The movie did make me laugh but definitely made me cringe too!!!The execution was done just right:suspense,light humor,suspense,harassment

se,cruel prank,TIME TO DIE!!!!It is way and i mean way gory i didnt' even like when her cute and sweet little dog got run over but thankfully he lived.His owner sadly no not so lucky!!!The movie was great I have a few gripes CARRIE 3 WHERE ARE YOU?The fact that the only survivor is killed infuriated me and she died gruesomely along with a jerk on the other side at least that's somethin I guess?!!All in all a very terrifying,scary,really funny,gruesome,definitely suspenseful,and rollercoaster type horror movie!!!By the way what was up with her adoptive parents they were horrible parents!!!No wonder she wanted to kill I would too!!!I also liked that very kind Officer who tried to help her in the beginning but sadly no one could help her!!!The ending lastly is a real shocker even more so than the original's!!!!
