The Pyramids (a Detroit RB group) were founded in 1962 by veteran Detroit singer Vernon Williams. The Pyramids were comprised of Vernon Williams (lead tenor), Bobby Jones (first tenor), Robert Gibson (second tenor), Damon Rockland (baritone), and Norman Worthy (bass).
