Pros: The movie scenes moved me close to tears!

Cons: ..."American Dream"...

This is an excellent film about the so-called "American Dream". Through hard work, more and more people are doing their best in order to achieve their goals in life, to reach the freedom that allows them to overcome the obstacles in their l...ives. But I think, in fact, the concept must be understood better and more deeply by foreigners than Americans themselves. The screenplay was based on the real story about the self-made millionaire Christopher Paul Gardner, who had struggled with homelessness while raising his toddler son; and the talented Will Smith was both the main actor and the producer of the film. I admit that the movie scenes seemed to move me close to tears, I admire the father and his efforts to keep his beloved family - the unlucky father and the little son - from being homeless and starving. The film demonstrated what a member of a minority has to do so as to be successful, to make their dreams come true. Life, in my opinion, was, is and will never be easy for anyone, in any time, and anywhere. We should always be hoping because everything'll be OK. Just try your best and you'll be able to live through even the worst heartbreak. I learned that from the film. Read more Less
