    Pros: The characters.

    Cons: Not sure!

    I never saw the original so i have nothing to compare this to. I will say that i enjoyed this movie a lot! There were mnay times that i laughed out loud and i was very amused by all three characters. Nathan Lane plays a quirky, over the top, slimy pr...oducer. Mathew Broderick plays a introverted, intelligent, accountant with strange habits. Uma Thurman is a lusty, beautiful, sweedish bombshell and I give all three of these characters credit! I think musicals are hard to do in todays age and i think they all pulled this one off well! Of course let's not forget Will Ferell and the others that make this movie quite funny! I think it is definatley worth seeing if you are looking for something light-hearted. Read more Less

    I thought this movie was stuoid. The musical/play and the movie were to different thigs.This movie was just a film to take up space in a video store. I was not happy with it at all.

    Pros: Some funny parts

    Cons: The movie was obnoxious

    You'd think with Will Ferrell, Nathan Lane, and Jon Lovitz in a movie that it would be somewhat funny. This movie wasn't. The two main characters were annoying and obnoxious. There was lots of over acting, like they were trying to make the mo...vie into a play. And it was alot of slapstick humor with only one character constantly being amusing.     Cons: none

    This movie is by far the funniest ive seen in a long time and it was sooo entertaining the dancing, singing, witty dialogue & jokes were all to die for. The characters Were so Off the Wall & Original. The Little old Ladies,The nazis,&The director wit...h his "Crew" were all great as supporting actors. Who new Matthew Brodrick had that character of leopold bloom in him This i rate As one of my favorite movies of all time Read more Less
