Synopsis: The Private Eyes (1980)

Inspector Winship (Knotts) and Dr. Tart (Conway) are a pair of Scotland Yard investigators who are called on to look into the mysterious murders of Lord and Lady Morley. At the possibly haunted Morley mansion the bumbling duo have to deal with a bizarre household staff, a wealthy heiress, and more in this hilarious spoof of Sherlock Holmes and other mystery stories....

    Great comedy and murder mystery

    I really have enjoyed this moive since I was a kid! I have recently bought this moive and I will show it to my childern when they are old enough to understand and enjoy it. I really respect Tim Conway and Don Knots.

    I think this is one of the all time funniest movies I've ever seen. Granted it's a little corny at times, so you definitely have to be in the right frame of mind, but once you are you'll remember it forever. If you get a chance, definitely check thi...s one out. Read more Less
