The Powerpuff Girls: Paint the Townsville Green Game Boy Color

Powerpuff Girls: Paint the Townsville Green is one of three games based on the top-rated Cartoon Network series, developed by BAM Entertainment for the Game Boy Color. This episode features Buttercup, the spunky, self-assured brunette member of the elementary school-aged crime fighting trio. As Buttercup, the player makes her way through this side-scrolling shooter adventure to defeat the band of destructive hoodlums known as ~the Gangrene Gang. Buttercup is particularly known for her physical prowess and strength of purpose on the television series and this is reflected in the gameplay, as Powerpuff Girls: Paint the Townsville Green features more of a focus on action than the other two Powerpuff Girls cartridges. As she tracks down the dangerous Gangrene Gang, Buttercup will find many power-ups and collectable items along the way. Many of these items can be traded with a friend who is playing another of the Powerpuff Girls games, through the use of a Game Boy ~Link Cable.
