Somehow this movie did not convey to me the urgency, danger and intensity as a group of passengers struggled to reach outside help. Their ordeals were way too easy in a capsided and sinking ship. Portrayal of several characters were very good and the theme song "Morning After" was excellent. The special effects were considered outstanding in 1972 but routine today. ...
