Movie Lacks Intensity
Somehow this movie did not convey to me the urgency, danger and intensity as a group of passengers struggled to reach outside help. Their ordeals were way too easy in a capsided and sinking ship. Portrayal of several characters were very good and the theme song "Morning After" was excellent. The special effects were considered outstanding in 1972 but routine today.

O DESTINO DO POSEIDON é um brilhante exercício cinematográfico, rico em pura emoção. Não dá para esquecer sua trilha sonora e suas brilhantes atuações (destaque para o sempre ótimo Hackman). Diversão de primeira.
