    Pros: the Sons are in this!

    Cons: Roy should have had a yodeling part

    Okey-dokey, I get to talk about this cool movie! #1, the Sons of the Pioneers are in this and the movie would have been a complete flop, musically speaking, without them. They sing "Silent Trails", a hauntingly beautiful song that can also ...be found on the CD "Gene Autry with the Legendary Singing Groups of the West" They also provide backup for Gene when he sings "Goodbye, Old Pinto" which can be found on the above mentioned CD as well. #2, Gene yodels marvelously. I have never heard a man yodel so high...he sure gets up there! #3, the Sons of the Pioneers actually have a part to act in this movie, they're not just there as music makers. Absolutely a recommended movie for anyone who is a fan of Gene Autry, but if you're thinking of getting this for the Son of the Pioneers' part, just buy the CD I mentioned. Read more Less
