The Nutty Professor
This is a Jerry Lewis masterpiece full of sight gags and understated humor- and has a moral to boot! Very refreshing to laugh without being exposed to offensive language. This DVD version has magnificent color throughout the film and is a real treat for the eyes!

I don't know why they even bothered to make an updated version of this movie. It doesn't even compare to this classic version of "the nutty professor". Jerry Lewis and Buddy Love are awesome in this movie. See this one if you dig older flicks, if not, just miss out!!

Perhaps Mr. Lewis's best work, the Nutty Professor has been sorely left out of today's focus. This is not surprising in light of its recent remake and subsequent follow-up activity by one Eddie Murphy. Fact is though that it was that Bud and Lou's comic take on good and evil's Jekyll & Hyde that inspired Lewis's "hip" twentieth century view that had subsequently fathered Mr. Murphy's smash. So now it's time to address all those who never saw the root of Mr. Murphy's inspiration with a dvd restoration of the real deal. Jerry's classic is one funny movie in dire need of an upgrade. Will someone please wake up the "guys" in the studio and let me know when the dvd version is available?

The Nutty Professor is an absolutely hilarious movie that shows Jerry Lewis in his prime. Several of the actors and actresses in the movie will also be recognized from other television shows and movies. Contains very little sexual or violent themes but still quite funny - perfect for those teenagers in your home! A must for any Jerry Lewis fan or fan of old comic movies.
