    This story makes you want to go out and find a love like theirs. I never would have watched this movie due to the title of it "the Notebook" sounds so "chick-flic", but, I had heard only great things about it so I took a chance an...d boy was I surprised.     Pros: Actors, Scenary, Story Line...EVERYTHING

    Cons: If anything predictable but still not bad

    This movie has got to be one of the BEST love stories. The acting was great & they worked so well together. Ryan Gosling as Noah, was very strong & moving...powerful w/out using words. Ryan Gosling & Rachel Adams work so well together & make you beli...ve what they are going through. Though the story line is predictable, it doesn't take away from the movie, for me it just adds to it & makes the point & meaning that much more heartfelt. Who wouldn't want James Garner's character taking care of them & looking after them with love & compasion when they're older? A great tear jearker movie. Make sure you watch it w/ tissues.     Cons: a little predictable

    you will definetly fall in love with Noah and become a little depressed your love life isn't like theirs. It's a wonderful storyline with fantastic NEW actors which makes the movie even more refreshing and just wonderful.

    Cons: It took Noah a long time to look for the love of his life

    I didn't know this movie would move me. It's a classic love story, with a simple rich girl-poor boy relationship, but artistically done. Can't help but cry hard in the end. It's a fairytale every couple would want to happen. Love sure...ly endures time, wrinkles, and death. Noah didn't came looking for his love, it just came back as he felt it should. Read more Less

    The Notebook is my favorite movie ever! Rachel
    McAdams and Ryan Gosling were amazing! It was such a romantic love story, but also soo sad! I would definetly recomend this movie for anyone to watch!

    If ever a man could be moved by a movie; than this is THE ONE. The "Notebook" brought to life the dreams and hopes of every mans innermost dreams; to be completely captured by a woman who is his complete soul mate. The woman he will do any... thing for, and anything to keep. This story is what lies within a real mans soul, and how grateful he would be to find such a wondeful woman like that; The one we would give everything up for, to find. The one "I" would give everything up for, to find. From the moment near the end of the movie, where Noah shows Allie the room he made for her to paint in, to the wrap around porch; She is the very fiber of his existence. How moving and riveting!     I hadn't heard much of the movie, (what it was based on) but it seemed as though everytime I DID hear about it, it got rave reviews. So I bought it. And I am so glad I did. One of the best movies I have ever seen. By far one of my favorites!! I c...ried, I laughed, I was full of ever emotion known to man. A spectacular movie!! If you haven't seen it by now...
