The Next Tetris PC Game

In additional to the traditional tetramino puzzle piece, which consists of the same colored blocks, players now also have multiminos at their disposal. These special pieces have multiple colors on them and break apart according to the colors when they touch the bottom of the screen, making matches and completing lines where possible.

Multiminos are important for another new feature, cascades. When a horizontal line is completed, it vanishes and the blocks above it fall down, possibly causing more lines to be completed, which in turn dissapear and bring more blocks down to possibly complete more lines and so on.

As in the original Tetris, your game is over if the pile of blocks reaches the top of the screen. Unlike the original, however, you begin each level with some garbage blocks which you need to clear in order to finish a round and progress to the next one, which is harder and moves faster.

Two players can take on two separate boards on the screen at the same time. Clearing two or more lines with cascades will cause your opponent's board to spin, darken, change all the pieces to gold, or all three at once depending on how many cascades are completed in one move. The effects are temporary.
