Originally a Boston power-pop group with a regional hit on the Ace of Hearts label in 1980, the Neighborhoods and vocalist David Minehan toned down the bright melodies and added more energy to become, well, a rock roll band. Their first release, the 1984 mini-LP Fire Is Coming was followed by a full record for Restless in 1986, "...the high hard one...."
