A Must See for Everyone Regardless of Religion
Pros: This incredible message begins with a surprising notice by the World Council of Churches
Cons: More explanation was needed to understand early marriage in the days of the early Roman Empire and Islam
Without any background in Islam or the life of Mohammad, I was amazed to learn of his dedication to Jesus and Mohammad's concerns that His teachings were being cast aside, as the world returned to murder, plundering, and idolatry. In fact, a notice in the beginning of the film was by the World Council of Churches, endorsing the film, then a notice to the viewer that we would not see images or actors depicting God (Allah, in Arabic), Jesus, Mohammad, or Abraham, out of the respect Islam holds for these great people, and God, the Creator of all.
This is a film everyone needs to see in order to understand what we've read about, but without the integration of Mohammad's efforts, to stop the murdering (condoned just 200 years after the death of Jesus, by the Church, no less), and idolatry, and the Roman leader who gave him shelter because of his work and determination to continue the teachings of Jesus.
No, all Islam isn't about terrorists, any more than Christianity is about the KKK, and militia. Its high time everyone checked off this DVD, to learn more about the beginnings of Islam.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoThe Truth

It is with great pleasure that I review this fantastic movie. It is an accurate and responsible account of the story of Prophet Muhammd ( Peace be upon him ). I would greatly recommend this movie to Americans and Europeans so that they have an understanding of the true Islamic teaching.Islam is a religion of peace and love and the action of terrorists have derailed from the real teachings of Islam.

"The Message" was a great movie beacuse I myself am a muslim. This thought me stuff that I thought I knew but didn't quite understand. This deserves my best rating because it is indeed a prominent movie has perfect actors perfect sound it is quite like a simulater of the prophet mohammed's life. You will relish this one-in-a-kind movie and see who or what a precise muslim is on this difficult times.

Maasha Allaah, by Allaah no movie can over come this movie unless or otherwise it is based on Islam. I hope people will understand the true meaning of Islam by watching this highly rated movie,Same is the other version of the Message in Arabic (AL RISSAALAH) wich is also Highly recomended to the arabic speaking people.

This movie is a must to see,for every age group.No matter what religion.This movie is truly one of the best religious movies I have seen.It explains Islam so perfectly and tells the world Islam does not prefer violent.It is more into faith and is very spiritual.The actors really live out and depict the era of the movie.I applaud the actors for making "The Message" a reality for every religion to watch and understand Islam is a religion to understand.This is surely a splendid movie and I have the word around.All thumbs up!!!

I saw this the arabic version of this movie about 6 years ago, and I still can't forget how powerful this masterpiece is. I call it masterpiece because it's the type of movie that makes you stop and reflect on issues and concepts that regard you personally. Concepts of spirituality and faith...If you have questions or uncertainties about islam, if you want to know the true history of the muslims, this film has the answer.
