    Pros: Excellent casting and acting; moments of good humor

    Cons: none that come to mind

    Most remakes of movies are disappointing...not so with "The Miracle Worker." The actors portrayed the characters very well, doing justice to a very fine film. The flashbacks of Annie Sullivan's asylum days were haunting, and her confron...tations with the family over control of Helen were believably acted. I recommend this film highly: It is an excellent film for family viewing, with a few good lessons in child-training. Read more Less

    Although it's been years since i've seen the orginal with Ann Bancroft and Patty Duke, this version is still very touching and the little 'Pepsi Girl' does an outstanding job!
