    A great story. And beautiful (as always with Wenders) to look at. A death has occured in a hotel inhabited by people who have fallen through society's cracks. Essentially a love story with a mystery intwined. But there's nothing can prepare you for t...he surprises as the characters reveal themselves and, learning more about them, you fall in love with every single one.I feel happy to be alive after experiencing this film.I have a renewed sense of wonder! Bono said he wanted to break people's hearts with this film. Wim Wenders said he hoped poeple would come away feeling lighter after seeing this film. Both have gotten their wishes granted. Davies, Jovavich, Smitts, just wow...... the entire cast is beautiful.. Read more Less

    The story itself is not really a great story but it has everything: a murder case, a love story, the music which let you feel the mood.Great opening of the film. I really liked the actor Jeremy Davies. I hope to see more from him in the near future. ...Mel Gibson is the usual but not outstanding. But without the music of Bono and co. this movie would only be as half as good. Read more Less
