Part of the late-'90s wave of Swedish guitar pop bands, the Merrymakers' official membership includes singers and songwriters David Myhr, Peter Karlsson, and Anders Hellgren; the band hires bassists, keyboardists, and drummers as needed. the Merrymakers formed in 1992 out of a series of bands led by Myhr and Karlsson, including Ant-Mansson, which released a 7" single in 1989. Hellgren joined the band in 1994, and they recorded an EP, Andrew's Stone. They released their debut album, No Sleep...
