    The Matchmaker is a fun warm hearted movie with a great cast. Janeane Garofalo shines through her performance as Marcie, a sentor's aide who is searching for his Irish ancestors. It's a loveable movie and you'll want to see it again and again.

    My son (9) laughs and laughs at all the gags in this movie. Its fun to be able to watch movies we both like. If I watch it without him he is laughing in the next room as he hears the broken legged annoying brother being shoved into a closet, or the r...eally bad singing. Great script especially for the genre, and great actors all over the place. If you like David O'Hara you would prolly like the outtake from MADE in which he is a loud chatty drunk. Read more Less

    I absolutely loved this movie! If you are a fan of Janeane Garafaolo, you have to see this one. She plays Marcy, a sardonic and overworked assistant to Senator John McGlory, who sends her to Ireland to search for his roots. She is just awesome in thi...s role, and so is David O'Hara as Shaun. If you want a lighthearted romantic comedy with no nudity or sexual scenes, and one that will make you laugh time and time again, then this is a must have for your movie collection!! I've watched it at least 15 times and I still laugh every time! Read more Less
