    50 Cent Every now and again a cd comes out that changes the genre of music for the better. For pop it was No Strings Attached. For rock it was Meteora. For Country I have no idea. Rap has had many of these kind of genre changing records. From Doggyst...le to The Chronic and All Eyes on Me to Life After Death.Illmatic to Marshall Mathers LP.No one but B.I.G and 2Pac have had such huge infuence to other so early in their careers.50 has a kind of swagger that makes him not only untouchable in the world of rap,but much needed. With tracks on this album like the lead single "Candyshop", he shows all non-believers he is more than a one hit wonder.Another single,"Disco Inferno", shows what magic he has on the mic.Other songs like "Gt In My Car" and "Gatman and Robin" show that this MC is more than qualified to be the King of New York.One of the best albums you'll ever hear.     Pros: Beats, Candy Shop, Disco Inferno, Outta Control, Piggy Bank, Gatman and Robbin, Build you up

    Cons: Constant beef and negativity, same old topics in songs (sex, drugs, money, beef), Game and Aftermath controversy

    The Massacre is a great and strong sequel to Get Rich or Die Tryin. He leaves off from there hungry and on top of the rap world. He has a different production team who bring in great beats and releive some pressure from Em and Dre, who are working on... their albums and Game Candy Shop is a great 1st single with a nice beat and flow to the song. Gatman and Robbin with Eminem and the Dre-produced Outta Control are similar to Patiently Waiting and In Da Club. Piggy Bank was a great diss song with a good chorus and beat. He even brought in Oscar and Grammy winner Jamie Foxx on the song Build you up which should be one of his other singles. It's good he left his G Unit buddy Yayo be on few songs because he will be a good up and coming rapper, but he should just take out Olivia because she's awful and getting attention only because of Candy Shop However, there are still weaknesses to this album. Besides the fact that G-Unit still talk about the same topics over and over again (drugs, sex, money, ruling the world,), the beefing with rappers needs to stop. The beef with Game, i thought, went totally out of hand on 50's part. If he will be a leader, he needs to understand that he needs to stop the rap violence and open up to all rappers. If Game's friends with someone who you have beef with, then you should let him work with Nas. You shouldn't kick him out because he's not on your side. Nas isn't saying anything about you. On the next weakness, 50 may he hurting Dre by saying his next album is his last on Aftermath, but he'll stay Shady/G Unit. He's again beefing with Dre because he was working with Game and couldn't work with 50. In the end, 50 needs to grow up as a rapper and make up with these rappers like Jada, Nas, and Ja Rule because soon, it will be 50 vs. the world. And that will turn out ugly.     Cons: There are none with 50's music

    I have all of 50's cd's and He just keeps getting better and better with every cd. I love buying his music because the whole cd is great music. Some cd's there is only one good song, but 50 has a whole cd full of great songs. Keep making... the cd's and the great music, 50 and I'll keep buying them!!! I love your music totally.     Man kid really did it on this one is last album he had to come out hard killing ja this one he really didn't need to do all that and the cd still gone sell 11 million but he had to clear things up on that one track piggy bank that joint a classic... to me 50 cent would probaly take over the world in he had weapons of mass destruction matter of fact is is a weapons of mass desruction for any cat that will decide to collaborate with JARule.     man, every time a g-unit cd comes out ppl get f^ckin excited about how dope its going to be, even tho they all have the same f^ckin formula...this is predictable made for the chart music, its not hip hop...50 cent uses the same formuala britney spear...s and justin timberake etc. use of putting out a mindless club song and a mindless sex songs with good beats and a catchy hook, the kinda s#it that would surely get a million 15 year old TRL fans buy their music...oh did i say music? my bad, this is nothing more than pop marketing man...     Pros: Production Keeps The Album From Sinking.

    Cons: Predictable and Overhyped

    First off I will say I love Fifftie and all but this album is a let down from the first. I mean for him to top the first would have been almost impossible and with Dre focusing most of his energy into the Game's Cd, 50 had to go to outside source...s to get beats. Some of them do him justice and some of them don't. Either or, to me it took the shine off of a highly anticipated album and leaves it lacklustered. There are a few tracks on here that are HOTT don't get me wrong, but its just not the caliber that I expected from his 2nd attempt. The album isn't a wash but its far from excellent like so of the reviews I read thus far. If you were expecting the same 50 that gave you "Get Rich or Die Trying", don't look for it in this album. You will get more singing, more clubby tracks and less edgier mood from beat to beat. Piggy Bank which is hott on the stations and over the web will give you a false impression that the whole album is like that. Its not. Just my humble opinion. 50 once said recently that if he doesn't top his 10 million sales on this album he will consider it a failure. 50 dawg...u failed!     I think that the album was not all that, I thought that he was going to bring a little more to the table but, he only did what other artists did in 2004 and the past. We already herd the beef with Nas and Jay-Z, Tupac and Biggie. I think that he is a... fake he's talking about JaRule on the signing and hear he comes again doing the same think. However, the beef that he has with Game isn't right i feel that Game shouldn't have to take up his beef that he has with other artists, just because he's apart of the group, besides 50 is putting him in a bad position where he will have to choose weather to make good music or to have beef with some of the pioneers of music who he respects.     Cons: Who Cares.

    The Massacre: No Stars. It's hard to imagine many people think this is a classic, this album is not a classic and this is an historic landmark for me, in ther 20 years almost since I've been to fort lauderdale, florida this is a closest thin...g for me to not buy the album and left the store and when I look back at the experience I Wish I Had, it's a piece of idiotic and incomprehensible nonsense, with 50 looking like a monkey in the cover, embarrasses himself with his truly dreadful rapping, songs are stupid, the writing is terrible, the beats looks like they borrowed from DMX 50's body is also horrible (LL Cool J's 10 and his body is so much better and the beats was much better too, although I Didn't like the Song he made with J Lo.) And the GGGGGG G-Unit catch phrase that godawful 50 made, is the worst catch phrase creation in recent hip hop and music history. This will become the lead contender for the worst album of 2005, Hands Down, the only big problem here is 50. The Massacre is a truly horrible disaster, A Truly Big Thumbs Down for Me I Really Despise this album. Read more Less
