Very funny!

This film stars Ginger Rogers as Susan Applegate. After holding down numerous jobs and then going broke, she decides to leave New York and return to her small town. The only problem is that train fares have gone up and she doesn't have enough money t...o return home. She then disguises herself as a twelve-year-old in order to get a lower priced train ticket. On the train she meets a military academy instructor (Ray Milland) who decides to keep watch over her. She returns with him to the military academy and that's where things get interesting. Suddenly she's surrounded by teenage boys all vying for her attention, finds herself attracted to the major she met on the train and becomes convinced that he's about to marry a woman that's wrong for him. This is a hilarious film with great performances from its leads. If you like Ginger Rogers in comedies, be sure to see her in "Monkey Business" (1952) co-starring Cary Grant, Marilyn Monroe and Charles Coburn. Read more Less
