    I've never been a Jim Carrey fan.He's usually not just funny,He's normally "over the top".I heard a rave review from a 10 year old and was surprised at why She liked it.Because He didn't act like He usually does.I saw & liked it too.It was like an ol...d fashioned Jimmy Stewart/Frank Capra film.Martin Landau was brilliant,He should've gotten another Oscar for it.This is the kind of film You hear they don't make anymore!See it!!!! Carrey should seek out more scripts to do like this one. Read more Less

    Worth a rental

    I didn't think this movie would be something that I would want to watch, but the movie was one of the better rentals that I have seen lately. The acting is wonderful. Jim Carrey is able to bridge the gap between comedy and drama wonderfully. If you... liked him in the Truman show, you will love him in this. Supporting cast is excellent, Marty Landau still has what it takes. I remember him from the old Mission Impossible days.If you are looking for a movie that you and your significant other would like, check this one out. Read more Less
