    Best game ever

By Robert  Dec 19, 2006 | 4 out of 5 found this The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess review helpful

Pros: graphics are top-notch, the storyline pulls you in, controls are so easy to master

Cons: None as far as I can tell

This game is definitely going to be in the running for Game of the Year. When I was on line waiting to purchase this game when it first came out, I knew I had something special, but when I started playing it was more then special. This game basically... takes everything you loved from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask and enhances it to a whole new level of gaming. The story is just so creative and draws you in. It's something you've never seen in a game before. Unless of course you wanna talk about Metroid Prime 2 going from light world to dark world and back, but that's a whole other review. lol. I think this game does touch on that concept, but is different to where you can't really compare the two. I'm not going to go into the storyline at all for those of you who haven't played the game yet because I myself have only gotten up to Hyrule field for the first time. However, from what I have played, this game is worth it just for the story alone. Graphically, it doesn't disappoint. Everything is the way it should be and looks just as good as any Xbox or PS3 game. The sounds, as all of you Zelda fanatics know, is what makes a Zelda game. From the opening theme to the cave music to when you pick up a rupee to when you find a hidden key or button for a door. It's all here and sounds amazing as it always does. The controls are the easiest Nintendo could have possibly made them. A flick of your wrist swings the sword. A small rotation of the stick does a spinning sword attack. Z-targeting makes all that even easier. It can't be no easier then that until they come up with a mind control controller. :-P That's all I really have to say about this game. For all you lazy people out there, the Wii is definitely not for you. Read more Less

Pros: Great Graphics and the best game yet for Wii.

Cons: Horrible sounds, the people dont talk.

The game is great but its way too long and challengeing. You gotta be a huge zelda fan to like it.

    Game of the year

By Zac C  Dec 19, 2006 | 1 out of 2 found this The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess review helpful

Pros: masterfull storey, hirule is amazeing, best doungens ever, great side quest, leanthey quest, controls work perfetcly.

Cons: some might be let down by the graphics and lack of VO.

This game is not only game of the year but one of the greast games of all time. The wii controls work perfectly. Swinging your arms like a sowrd, or holding the controler like a bow to shoot one is great and dosent fell gimicey. The storey is suprize...ingly dark but masterfull. The score in this game is one of the best in Zelda historey and the sounds that come out of the wii mote only makes me love it more. The quest can take 60 hrs+ to beat and theres side quest. I have nothing bad to say about this game except maybe next time we can get some VO. Read more Less

If you're a Zelda fan, you'll definitely love it.

Pros: Good control, easy-to-understand, great story line, music was amazing. I understand why this was the "Game of the Year" last 2006.

Cons: Some of the graphics look a bit strange, when you finish the game-- not that challenging anymore.

Of course, people have been arguing which one is better: Twilight Princess or Ocarina of Time-- I think both of them were great.Twilight Princess would take you in the story to travel around Hyrule, explore amazing dungeons, fight beasts, save towns ...and get the princess. The controls fit perfectly. It's easy to use. If it did have the wii motion plus, my arms would have fallen off. So much swinging! The music was beautiful--- it'll give you that nostalgic feeling if you've played all of the other zelda games. Each dungeon had their own unique music. If you have a wii, buy this game! You're not a true gamer if you don't know Zelda (in my opinion)! Read more Less
