the Final fantasy killer
Pros: everything. im serious. i dont normaly say that about games, but really, everything about this game is mind-blowingly awesome
Cons: nothing. it is the perfect RPG.
This is my second favorite RPG of all time (my first is FFX). it easily surpasses all other RPGs on the ps1 in terms of graphics, gameplay, storyline and re-playability. FFVII fanboys absolutely hate this game. do you know why? becuase they cant stand to see it trample their precious FF7 in every way imaginable. LOD is like FFVII, FFVIII and FFIX all put together and multiplied times a thousand. the gameplay is awesome. it was one of the first RPGs to incorporate actual gaming skill and cordination with strategy. the cutscene graphics look like early ps2 cutscenes (im not exagerating). The storyline is full of twists and original ideas. the dragons are comepletely reimagined and unique. they introduce very interseting original creatures such as the winglys and virages. the game brings you to countless breathtaking locations and will amaze you with its music. it has a cetain simplicity to it but at the same time it is intricate stimulating. overall, this game is 100% satisfying. If you want to see what im talking about, play it for yourself. The only people that play this game dont love it, are ignorant, asinine, close-minded FF7 fanboys who refuse to see greatness in any RPG that doesnt have the Final fantasy logo on it.

Pros: beautiful story line
Cons: i could not beat the last mission because i had no idea were to go and when you got to the fourth disc and wanted to go somewhere you visited on the first disc you had to find that first disc in order to succeed that was very unique and got on your nerves if you were not very responsible but no doubt th at was creative
even though i have not played this game in years for it to be on playstation or any other game console the graphics were amazing the story line was beautiful and if they {the game designers} had continued to make this game final fantasy would have a lot of competition

Pros: the scenes where u see the dragoon campaing fighting the faries or whatever they are.
Cons: it was only made for playstation. should be made for gba so u can play it on the move.
i liked this game for a playstation better than anyother game for anyother system. i would rather play this game for ten minutes than play halo or grand theft auto san andreas or any other game for a couple hours. it hooks u right away and u just want to keep playing it. i played it for over 3 hundred hours and have had it for about a year at least and i still cant beat the end. it has a good climax and i would recamend it to all ages. a eight year old would like it because all the fights and a thirty year old would like it because of the hard challenges of it. if you are playing it you have to pay full attention to it because timing is a key factor in this game. on a 1 to 5 scale 1 being the worst and 5 being the best i would rate it a 10.

You cant fall asleep playing this game. The time-sensitive attacks make the game quite challenging, and if youre dozing you cant kill anything. This game also has a great storyline.

This is a must have in the rpg collection!!! Its a long and intresting game for hours of fun. In some parts there are small movies clips that have awsome graphics. I also liked the style of fighting becasue you have to push the buttons in a rythmic pattern.

I just beat this game last week. It was an awesome game. The graphics and the story line was great. I liked turning into a dragoon to fight the enemies.
