Synopsis: The Last Supper (1996)
Synopis: Five liberal Iowa graduate students want to make a difference in the world. But when they're put to the test, like most liberals, they are really a whole lot of talk and very little action. Until one stormy night. An unexpected encounter launches the group into a lively series of weekly dinner parties to see how the other half thinks. Each week a carefully chosen, politically controversial dinner guest is invited to break bread and exchange his or her thoughts on current affairs. Regardless of the conversation, the repast is always delightful, delectable and deadly--with tomatoes picked fresh from the shockingly fertile back yard.Features: The Last Supper (1996)

A must see
, February 14, 2000Reviewer: Steven M A - See all Steven M A's reviews1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this Last Supper review helpful Fantastic movie. The depths of the political spectrum are pushed to the point of the absurd as radiacal liberals convince themselves that they are doing good by murdering those who's thoughts are of a more conservative nature. Some of the first victims you might even agree, the world is a better place without em. When they encounter conservative views that they can't find fault with things get real interesting ... -

not J I M M - See all not J I M M's reviews Pros: The movie eventually ends
Cons: It's a hate-monger movie !!!
This is one of those few movies that depicts people on BOTH the left side and right side of the political spectrum as nothing more than carbon-copy stereotypes.
The story follows a group of left-wing college students who track down and execute various right-wing supporters; from a Catholic Priest to a potential Presidential Candidate.
I shudder to think of anyone on the left side or the right side who could use this movie as inspiration; like Basketball Diaries supposedly inspired the Columbine tragedy.
FX regularly shows this movie and I can't imagine why.
This movie at the least supports every negative stereotype one side would believe about the other side.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! ...
