    Pros: Cruse's best in a while

    Cons: None really

    This film was great! Of course I am fan of Japaneese history especially during and before the time line of this movie. This movie reminds you of what respect and honor means. I highly recomend!!!!

    Pros: Great Asian Actors

    Cons: Some what Fiction about the Japanise teaching an american the code of bushido

    Great Movie.Enjoyed the movie. Great Action.
    Supporting Actor Ken Watanabe is a up coming Star and will be the next Toshio Mufune.Ken Watanabe did An outstand performance.

    Pros: Included excellent action coordination

    Cons: Old story: Yellow fever

    Although the quality of the movie is excellent with the big budget expected of Hollywood, the premise is ridiculous. Instead of preserving the cultural integrity of the film like done by Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, the movie attempts to draw crow...ds based on the asian fetish of many caucasian men who are interested in seeing an interracial film. In other words, they attempt to appeal to viewers by using the extremely old and tiring AIDA, Miss Saigon, Shogun, Dances with wolves, etc formula of the white man coming to preserve/
    save/
    unite/
    lead/
    etc another culture/race/country and because the culture/race/country are unable to help themselves and must rely on this white man. Meanwhile of course the white man as a reward or just because the men of the culture/race/country are just not up to par or extremely evil gets to hook up with the sexy women of the culture/race/country. It's about as implausable as Nicole Campbell as the Last Geisha.     Read more Less

    O my gosh I loved this movie. I cryed at the end. Tom looked so hot at the beginning of the movie, in his army uniform. I really understood the movie. It was amazing, this is by far the best movie I've ever seen.I personally recommend it to every...one who loves action,adventure,drama, and romance(there very little romance in this movie but it was romance).     A Very Good Movie

    Pros: Exceptional Acting!

    Cons: A little far fetched.

    I thought the acting was outstanding! Tom Cruise is superb yet again. I will probably watch it a 2nd time just because it's inevitable that something was probably missed during the first time viewing. I'm always amazed at what I can pick up w...hen see a movie a 2nd or 3rd time. Rent this one it's definitely worth it and more! Strongly recommend this one! Read more Less

    yet another one of my favorite American movies. I love the scenery, but of course the main reason I drool all over this movie is the awesome action in it.

    Pros: using a different launguage was a good twist

    Cons: took a lil to get used to the subtitles

    i didn't think i was going to like the movie...but once i got into it (which didn't take to long) i really enjoied the movie. I thought that Tom Criz was awsome in it.
