A feature-length, animated, direct-to-video sequel, this film was the recipient of a 1996 Annie award for "Outstanding Achievement in an Animated Home Video Production."

THE LAND BEFORE TIME VOLUME IV: JOURNEY THROUGH THE MISTS: In another song-filled adventure based on characters created by Judy Freudbert and Tony Geiss, Littlefoot's grandfather becomes ill. To help his grandpa heal, Littlefoot and his dinosaur friends embark on a trek through the once-dry "Land of Mists" in order to retrieve the rejuvenating Night Flower.
