Cons: Convoluted, silly story

In the shadow of his father and grandfather, Moe-kei(Jet Li)sets of an action-drama in the learning of kung fu and the ways of women. Moe-kei is beaten with the "Jinx palm" when he is a kid. The Jinx palm is a kung fu style which makes the defender i...ncable of performing kun fu.(Great Plot)A side story to the plot is that Moe-kei´s parents commits suicide in front of him to seal the secret of the whereabouts of Moe-kei´s grandfather, who is the owner of a powerful sword. Moe-kei is watched over by his uncle, but he gets in a fight with his cousin and is saved by an outcast kung fu women and they flee Moe-kei´s evil cousin. In the get-away they fall in a big hole. In the hole they met a powerful kung fu monk, who is mad at Moe-kei´s grandfather and therefore wants revenge in any way, and Moe-kei is an obvious choice. The monk wants to kill Moe-kei with his kung fu, but instead he cure him of his Jinx palm and passes his kung fu knowledge to Moe-kei. Now Moe-kei has the power to revenge his parents, and from here the plot evolves to the great kung fu movie it is.In my opinion this is a work of art from the earli 90´s, the story is oldschool with a twist of humor only the asians could make at the time. The wire-kung fu is made by Yuen Woo Ping(The Tai Chi Masters,Matrix,Romeo must die,Fist og Legend)he is a god in the martial arts movie. Read more Less
