Excellent 1927 Special FX
This film is a Masterpiece work of Cecil B. DeMille's silent version of King of Kings. The acting, direction, story interest and especially the special effects for this 1927 silent movie are well-ahead of it's time. The makeup is not overdone as in some of those old films, and the story starts at the peak of Jesus's time here on earth. The acting and directing is tremendous for that time period, which proves DeMille's natural ability for directing. The surprise techni-color resurrection ending is amazing. You must see this to believe it.
