    Pros: Everything

    Cons: I didn't like the ending.

    An early Stanley Kubrick film that is great. Why is it that movies like this are so much better than most of the crap that comes out of Hollywood today? The confrontation of both gangs in the hotel room after the robbery was a little confusing, other... than that, a must see movie. This film proves that you don’t need gratuitous sex and violence to make a great film. Read more Less

    "The Killing" has all the trademarks that would permeate Kubrick's best films to come...the belief in a system gone awry, dehumanization (racism, infidelity), and just plain old great storytelling. This film desreves credit for it then unique manipu...lation of the time line in plot structure, later made slicker in New Wave films and Tarnatino's "Reservoir Dogs", and "Pulp Fiction".
