Synopsis: The Keep (1983)
Synopis: In this strange horror film, Nazis guarding a Romanian castle unwittingly release a demonic creature that the fortress was built to imprison. After slaughtering many of the German soldiers, the creature threatens to take the life of a Jewish historian and his daughter. wonderful horror science fiction film

The film has beautiful cinematography,and a good message if a little confusing at times.

Kevin Lucero Less teaches a cinema class at the Tucson Musem of Art, Art School. He used the cinema of Michael Mann to demonstrate the power of image and music. The KEEP, like all of Mr. Mann's work, is mise en scene at it's finest. Mann always seems to capture the essence of a location, while keeping his auidences in awe.
