I fell in love with the movie at the age of 2 years old. It remains my favorite hands down. It got me through the bullies in childhood and taught me to kick some ass! Mr. Miaggi was masterful. One of the most magnificent classic performances ever. But I'm stil not sure just why its so good.
I guess thats whats solidifies it as a classic, it just never gets old.

I remember watching this one at the theatre when I was 11. Watching it was like growing up. You can totally relate to Daniel, all the the ups & downs...Great fun, even today!

now this is class movie. i had seen it long time ago, but finally got the dvd and have seen it loike 3 times in 2 days. elizabeth is very pretty and good actor. Miyagi is awesome.

I honestly have to say that watching this movie again makes me realize the shit I watched as a kid. Man this movie is so slow not only the sequences but also the fights…whata fuck!…a girl fight better than this pussy boy. I hate this movie, I hate everything in it…. You know I love the 80’s and good movies were from this time, but Karate Gay, I mean Kid, is far from a great classic movie. Down with Myagi!!

I have watched this film lots of times and it is such a cool film. The friendship between Mr Miyagi and Daniel is brilliant and is a film you can watch again and again. The sequals to this film are not as superior to this original and it would be best to watch the first before the others.

I watched this film when i was about 5 and loved it from the minute i saw it. There was something about the way it taught you to stick up for your rights. Shws what pride realy is. I lovd th film. i am trying to get a Video of it now. I am 16. but nowhere seems to have it. My version has been watched that many times you cannot hear it. I'd recommend to any1 and in my books it goes down as one of th best movies of all times. Lotsa Luv Crazy
