    A really funny movie wth Arkin in one of his best roles ever.. Richard Libertini, as the S. American dictator is outrageous!! Remember tis line: "Serpentine...serpentine!

    This movie was really good! It was also REALLY funny! If you want to see 1 really funny movie, see the In Laws! My friends kept laughing and we loved the movie! It was one of the funniest movies I saw, we laughed harder that we did at the movies and ...I saw it over and over and over and I memorized it! Read more Less

    I have a vhs of this movie that I have seen many times and laugh my butt off every time. I am looking forward to buying the DVD.

    Serpentine! Serpentine!

    This is a film that I never heard about until watching in on tv. A definate sleeper classic. These two men have nothing in common except that their children about to marry each other then Alan Arkin gets drug into the crazy life of Peter Falk. The la...ughs are plentyful and the story line is a hoot. And if you are a security guard at J.C. Pennny's in Detroit, you'll have a special bond with this film. Buy it and PLEASE someone put this on DVD! Read more Less

    I have loved this movie since the day I saw it -- It's so funny. The previous reviewer said "Serpentine" He is not kidding. Also love "Why are you shooting at me? I'm a dentist."     Get down on your knees and grovel in its presence. You are not worthy to view this film. This is genius. The pathetic attempt to create other films should have been outlawed at the conclusion of this film. The fact that "The In Laws" is not on DVD, i...n fact, is not the only DVD available on Earth, is an embarassment to both the nation and humanity, in general. Alan Arkin, perfect; Peter Falk, genius; everyone else, incredible. If you have opposable thumbs and can bang rocks together, you will love this film. If you don't, you'll have to prove to me you can actually bang rocks together. Thank you. Read more Less
