Pros: some nudity, if you count that as a pro.
Cons: bad acting, story is nothing like the game, stupid action sequences, clips of the game carelessly thrown in.
Don't even bother to rent this piece of trash. It was awful. Here's a big hint for you; IT'S DIRECTED BY UWE BOLL! Worst movie I've ever seen.

this is the dumbest video game or other adapation EVER, PERIOD. after watching this movie you will literally be dumber for having wasted your time, money and energy suffering thru this mess. for christ sake they have video game splices between transition shots. HORRIBLE!!

This movie is so bad, that for many of the fight scenes they put in clips of the video game. Infact, in one clip you saw, "press start" flashing at the bottom of the screen.
How bad can a movie be that they need to go to an arcade, and not even pay the 50cents to tape it so there is no press start flashing on the bottom of the screen?
This is no lie either, go to movies.yahoo.com to read for yourself how many people said this is the worst movie ever made in existance.
It also has nothing to do with the game. I love the game, and Uwe Boll the director is a crook. He made the movie in days, pretty much bought the rights to make a movie based on the game, the only relation to the game is the title of hte movie. WATCH out, hes making alone in the dark, and dungeon siege, both promising to be even worse then this.
This crook makes movies with no actors, as you can read from the journal on the house of the dead offical site. And sees how many suckers will watch them.
For real, If i made a movie called "Everquest", and video taped your mom, I'd probably make quite a profit on the idiots who'd see the movie.
If anything, STEAL this movie. I never stole anything, but would like to steal every copy of this in all the stores so they'd loose money for everybody they stole from.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoDONT EVEN CONSIDER IT

Look at the movie ratings at movies.yahoo.com. This is the worst movie ever made in existance, infact look at the journal of one of the stars of the movie on the movies official page. He even talks about not being a real actor, how uwe boll has a reputation for finishing movies way to quick and below budget, this movie was all done within under i month i believe. this movie is so bad even a 2 year old could of made something better.

Pros: Great movie.
Cons: The speakers at the theater were messed up.
This was wayyyyyyyyy better than resident evil. Such a great movie. The graphics were cool. The fight scenes were long and awesome, not to mention graphic. This movie literally showed the blood and guts when a zombie got shot or something. The setting of the movie was eerie. The plot was good for the type of movie it was. The music was hip and retro. Beautiful young, talented actors. The only con about this movie was that the speakers in the theater was messed up, so it was kinda hard to hear the dialogue. Final words for this movie are, "Awesome" "Cool" "Great" "YES!!!"
